Transferinformation
Before starting the transfer, please check the following list:
- State of the Domain:
- For .CC, .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ and .NAME the status of the Domain has to allow the transfer. You can contact your old registrar to change the status to "OK" at any time.
- The Domain cannot be transferred when the status is "clientTransferProhibited" (You can see this information on the WHOIS)
- Transfer confirmation
- For .DE Domains: Before you can start the transfer, you need to inform your old registrar. This can be done with our KK Form, which can be found here.
- Other Domains: After initialising your transfer, the owner of the Domain (often known as registrant) gets an email containing the transfer request. This information is taken from the WHOIS Page. If no email adress of the owner is given, the Administrative contact (ADMIN-C) will receive the email.
- AUTH Code: For .CC, .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ and .NAME you must enter the AUTH Code you've got from your old registrar.
Further informations can be helpful:
- If your email adress isn't reachable any more:
- For all Domains except .AT and .DE: IN this case you need to change the email information (contact your old registrar) and start the transfer again.
- For .AT Domains: You can also accept the transfer via Fax. Please use our form, which can be downloaded here. Mark "Provider / Nameserver - Wechsel", sign and send it to +43 (662) 4669 - 29.
- Domain creation date: For .CC, .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ and .NAME the Domain must be registered for at least 60 days to be transfered.
- Expired Domains: Expired Domains cannot be transfered. We suggest starting a transfer 5 days before the expiration date.
